The all-new MU-X has 3 rows of seating to give a total of 7 seats. The front seats are bucket whiplash protected seats with electric adjustment and a heating feature for those chilly mornings. The split-fold rear seats feature a foldable centre armrest and 2 USB ports. Double sealed doors and an excess of soundproofing makes the MU-X a peaceful and relaxing ride.

The MU-X has cup holders in all 3 rows, storage for tissues, a 12v 120-watt power socket and 3 USB ports in total. The upper center console storage, under steering wheel storage, deep door pockets, and seatback pockets provide storage solutions for those easily misplaced but much-needed items. Still need more space? Fold-down the rear seats, or make use of the roof rails which come as standard on the MU-X

The dependable 3.0L 4JJ3 turbo-diesel engine has been given a tickle-up and now produces even more power and torque. Revisions to the high-pressure injector system, electronically controlled variable geometry turbocharger and engine internals result in an extra 10 kW of power, plus another 20 Nm of torque, all while maintaining class-leading dependability.

The Terrain Command dial in the all-new MU-X allows you to shift between 2WD and 4WD Hi mode on the move (up to 100km/h) for improved traction when driving conditions change.

Your search for the perfect travelling companion is over. The MU-X can seat up to 7 people, and tow up to 3,500kg. Isuzu’s legendary 3-litre turbo diesel engine delivers high torque across the range, making light work of a caravan, boat, or trailer. Trailer Sway Control (TSC) assists with towing in high winds or on uneven surfaces.

The all-new MU-X's go-anywhere ability has been further improved providing you with a 7-seater SUV that is as at home up in the backcountry hills as it is out on State Highway One. Wading depth has been increased to 800mm for those extra deep crossings, and the all-new MU-X now includes a rear differential lock for improved traction on slippery surfaces. For on-road excursions, there is a range of new electronic driving aids to keep you on the straight and narrow.

Whether the Isuzu MU-X is used for work or play, its 6-speed automatic transmission offers ease of operation while providing vehicle driveability and flexibility.

The ladder rail chassis of the MU-X is 8kg lighter, whilst being 20% more rigid. This assists with towing performance and on/off-road performance.

This feature electronically applies the brakes to ensure a smooth, controlled descent, giving you the confidence to tackle the trickiest downhill terrain.

The all-new MU-X features wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto phone mirroring capability allowing you to project sat-nav directions, play music, make and receive calls, and more.

The climate control air-conditioning on the all-new MU-X now includes dual-zone functionality enabling both front seat passengers to be able to select their own desired temperature. Back-seat passengers benefit from rear air vents for added air circulation.

The new smart Multi Information Display (MID) includes a digital speedometer, safety information, fuel economy and range, odometer, trip information, and a service reminder. This information is conveyed via a new advanced colour  TFT display.

Automatic rain-sensing wipers use a sensor on the windscreen to detect moisture and will adjust the wiper operation automatically. This clever technology is standard on the all-new MU-X.

Automatically adjusts your speed based on vehicles around you when cruise-control is activated making open road driving a breeze.

Your MU-X recognises traffic signs, displaying information such as speed limits in the Multi-Information Display (MID) for easy reference.

If your MU-X detects a potential collision, emergency braking is applied automatically. That's clever and safe technology to help keep you and others safe out on the road. 

An audible warning sounds and red warning lights flash on the dashboard when an obstacle is detected in your path giving you a chance to avoid a collision.

BSM provides a visual warning in your side mirrors when an obstacle is approaching in your blind spot. A must-have safety feature when out on the open road.

Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Emergency Lane Keeping (ELK) and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) work to help prevent collisions with other drivers should your MU-X begin to drift across its lane.

In slow-moving areas such as car parks, the stereo cameras determine whether the accelerator has been applied accidentally. Should a potential collision be detected, the brakes are automatically applied. 

The MU-X is fitted with dual front airbags, side impact airbags, curtain airbags, driver knee airbag and a segment first front centre airbag, providing excellent level of safety to all occupants.

Day or night? Rain or shine? The MU-X takes a few of the little inconveniences under its wing like automatic light control, including a light sensor that turns headlights on or off depending on the time of day and will control headlight beams if oncoming traffic is detected.

The Hill Start Assist (HSA) function engages automatically on significant gradients to prevent the MU-X rolling when moving from a stationary position. The Hill Descent Control (HDC) allows a smooth hill descent at a controlled speed. 

The MU-X has built-in rain-sensing wipers, ensuring you never lose sight of the road in wet weather conditions.

Front & rear parking sensors provide instantaneous feedback regarding nearby obstacles whilst conducting reversing maneuvers.

If an emergency braking manoeuvre is performed the taillights will flash to warn following drivers to slow down.
