Isuzu Roadside Assistance staff are fully qualified to assist Isuzu owners by providing general advice over the phone or arranging for roadside assistance in the unfortunate event of an emergency breakdown.
Isuzu Roadside Assistance is a complimentary service provided with all new Isuzu vehicles and is valid for the standard warranty coverage of up to 3 years/100,000km (whichever occurs first) from the date of first registration. Selected models are eligible for an additional 3 years/50,000km* warranty which includes roadside coverage.
In the event of a roadside breakdown and the problem causing immobility is a minor mechanical or electrical breakdown, call us on 0800 478 986. A technician will be dispatched to your vehicle to make an emergency repair to rectify the problem and get you back up and running. Once roadside assistance has been arranged and a technician has been dispatched to your vehicle, you MUST stay with your vehicle until help arrives.
What can they help with?
- Flat battery - Our approved mobile technician will jump-start a flat battery. It's then recommended that you visit your nearest Isuzu Dealer/Service Agent to have your battery tested.
- Lost keys or keys locked in the vehicle - Our approved mobile technician will provide access to the vehicle. Where possible, our approved technician will re-open the vehicle. If the vehicle cannot be re-opened or started the vehicle will be transported to the nearest Isuzu Dealer/Service Agent.
- Punctured or flat tyre - Our approved mobile technician will fit the spare wheel and provide a referral to a reliable tyre repairer or supplier. If your flat tyre cannot be rectified roadside, your vehicle will be transported to the nearest Isuzu Dealer/Service Agent.
- Out of fuel - Our approved mobile technician will deliver approx 5 litres of fuel free of charge.
- Mechanical or electrical breakdown - As a first option, a trained operator will try to provide over-the-phone advice to assist in getting the vehicle mobile. If this is not successful, an approved mobile technician will be dispatched to carry out an initial assessment and apply temporary or minor repairs (if possible) to get the vehicle going. If it is not possible to get the vehicle mobile roadside, the mobile technician, your vehicle will be transported to the nearest Isuzu Dealer/Service Agent for further diagnosis.
- Towing - If the vehicle cannot be accessed, repaired, or safely driven for any reason, it will be transported to the nearest Isuzu Dealer/Service Agent.
- Towed vehicles - Transportation will be provided for towed vehicles such as trailers, boats, and caravans to the nearest secure facility deemed acceptable by the vehicle Owner/Driver. All storage and repatriation fees for the towed vehicles are the responsibility of the vehicle Owner/Driver.
