Leigh Boat Ramp: Free, single lane concrete ramp. Difficult to manoeuvre.

Omaha Boat Ramp: Free, five lane concrete ramp, plenty of parking, easy to manoeuvre.

Warkworth Cruising Club Boat Ramp: $10 fee. No parking for non-members. All weather single lane concrete ramp.

Hobbs Bay Boat Ramp: Free, two lane concrete ramp. Exposed to prevailing south-westerly conditions.

Takapuna Boat Ramp: Free, four lane concrete ramp. Limited parking, exposed to easterly weather and not good when there is a swell.

Bayswater Boat Ramp: Free, small single lane concrete ramp.

New Plymouth:

Moturoa boat ramp: Free, this is a dual access concrete ramp, jetty, good parking, a wharf, and some facilities.

Ngamotu Beach boat access: Free, near Blyde Terminal, New Plymouth Yacht Club ramp.

Lake Rotomanu boat ramp: Free, concrete single boat ramp, jetty, good parking, toilets, picnic area, access to all entire lake margin, and all fishing methods effective.

Napier:

Napier Sailing Club Boat Ramp: $20 boat ramp fee for non-members. Busy during Saturday afternoons and evenings.

West Quay Boat Ramp: Free, multi-lane concrete ramp with access to the harbour, the Club offers all facilities, there are several jetties, with good parking, free to members Napier Sailing Club ramp.

Nelson Quay Boat Ramp: Free, dual lane concrete boat ramp, which includes a jetty, a very good parking area, and all facilities at the Hawkes Bay Sports Fishing Club.

Meeanee Quay Boat Ramp: Free, metal access track to a sandy pebbly beach, with reasonable parking, the launching area is tidal, and has no facilities.

Wellington:

Dorrie Leslie (Lyall Bay): Free, affected by wind and swell.  Limited car parking.

Evans Bay: Free, usable in all weather conditions.  Ramp has gentle slope with wooden piers. Ample car parking.

Seatoun Beach: Free, small boat access only

Tarakena Bay Ramp: Free, maintained by Wellington International Airport. Limited car parking.

Island Bay Ramp: Free, sand access and limited parking.

Owhiro Bay Ramp: Free, provides access to the south coast. Affected by wind and swell.

Makara Beach Ramp: Free, north end of beach into river. Small boat access only.
