The EXTERIOR
Completely new styling extends across all models of the all-new D-Max. The LX is the workhorse of the range and is up to any task you can throw at it. It's still got some creature comforts however to keep you entertained when you are out and about. And like all new D-Max's it's got all the gear to keep safe out on the open road.
HALOGEN HEADLIGHTS
The LX is equipped with powerful halogen headlights for excellent visibility under all conditions. Combined with these is automatic light control and high beam assist.
ELECTRIC WINDOWS & MIRRORS
Electric windows are standard on the D-Max, easy as that. As an added luxury, the exterior mirrors are also electrically adjustable from the cabin.
17" WHEELS
Durable and purposeful 17" steel wheels ensure that the D-Max LX can handle any condition thrown at it. Included are high quality All-Terrain (AT) tyres for ultimate road-holding on any surface.
Two TONE Black Grille
Strong, bold and distinctive, the LX matte black double grill features the Isuzu logo loud and proud.
The Interior
Isuzu's 'universal design' concepts drive development and inclusion of features that are intuitive to use, easy to reach and greatly improves occupant and driver convenience. An abundance of thoughtfully placed storage and cup holders complete the interior giving it a striking sense of design and function. The D-Max offers all of the luxury appointments expected in modern vehicles.
Design
When designing the interior of the all-new D-Max the engineers were given a directive to use an airplane cockpit as inspiration. This means that control ergonomics, occupant comfort, material quality & durability, and driver visibility are key priorities. The team at Isuzu Utes nailed the brief, once you jump in the all-new D-Max you will never want to leave.
Comfort
Sculpted sports seats featuring a foldable rear centre armrest. Wide front seat rails provide for large boots/feet to easily slip under the front seat for rear passengers. Entry and exit have been made easier thanks to large door openings. Double sealed doors and an excess of soundproofing make the D-Max a peaceful and relaxing ride.
internal Storage
With 10 different positions for cups or bottles, the upper front console provides storage for tissues and has a 12v 120-watt power socket for added convenience. The upper center console storage, under steering wheel storage, deep door pockets, and seatback pockets provide storage solutions for those easily misplaced but much-needed items.
MULTI-FUNCTION Steering wheel
The durable multi-function steering wheel puts Bluetooth, audio and cruise controls at your fingertips so you can concentrate on the road ahead.
REAR SEAT SPLIT FOLD
The rear seats of the LX Double Cab feature a unique 60/40 split fold up/down configuration allowing for extra storage space in the rear of the cab.

ISUZU 4JJ3 3.0L ENGINE
The dependable 3.0L 4JJ3 turbo-diesel engine has been given a tickle up and now produces more power and torque. Revisions to the high-pressure injector system, electronically controlled variable geometry turbocharger and engine internals result in an extra 10 kW of power plus another 20 Nm of torque all while maintaining class-leading dependability.
OFF ROAD PERFORMANCE
The D-Max's legendary go-anywhere ability has been further improved providing you a ute that is as at home up in the backcountry hills as it is out on SH1. Wading depth has been increased to 800mm for those extra deep crossings, whilst 4x4 models now include a rear differential lock for improved traction on slippery surfaces. For on-road excursions, there is a range of new electronic driving aids to keep you on the straight and narrow.
3500KG TOWING ABILITY
Tow up to 3500kg*. Your search for the perfect travelling companion is over. Isuzu’s legendary 3-litre turbo diesel engine delivers high torque across the range, making light work of a caravan, boat, or trailer. Trailer Sway Control (TSC) assists with towing and will assist with towing in high winds or on uneven surfaces.

TERRAIN COMMAND (4x4 models)
The Terrain Command dial in the Isuzu D-Max 4x4 allows you to shift between 2WD and 4WD Hi mode on the move (up to 100km/h) for improved traction when driving conditions change.
6 SPEED TRANSMISSION
The Isuzu LX Ute comes with a choice between a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission, offering ease of operation while providing vehicle driveability and flexibility, whether the Isuzu D-Max is used for work or play.
LADDER RAIL CHASSIS
The ladder rail chassis of the D-Max is 8 kg lighter than ever whilst being 20% more rigid. This assists with towing performance and on/off road performance.
HILL DESCENT CONTROL
This feature electronically applies the brakes to ensure a smooth, controlled descent, giving you the confidence to tackle the trickiest downhill terrain.

The new smart MID with digital speedometer, safety information, fuel economy and range, odometer, trip information, and a service reminder. This information is conveyed via a new advanced colour TFT display.
AIR-CONDITIONING
A powerful air-conditioning system will be a welcome companion to those days when the weather is playing up. This efficient system has the ability to cool down or heat up the cabin in no time.
RAIN SENSING WIPERS
Automatic rain-sensing wipers use a sensor on the windscreen to detect moisture and will adjust the wiper operation automatically. This clever technology is standard on all new D-Max's.
