The Isuzu 4JJ3-TCX 3.0L turbo-diesel common rail engine features fuel injection optimisation and a large front-mounted intercooler to deliver smooth, dependable performance.

Torque when you need it

The advanced 3.0L turbo-diesel engine delivers 140kW and 450Nm of torque, available from 1,600 to 2,600rpm. This wide, usably torque band provides strong take-off and smooth acceleration, making the D-MAX easy to drive when carrying a load or towing up to 3.5T.

6-speed transmission

The 6-speed automatic gearbox delivers smooth, consistent shifts across everyday driving conditions. It works with the engine to provide controlled power delivery, supporting towing, carrying a load and long hauls.
